As I woke up to this fresh, yet sunny day, my thoughts go to all those who, deservedly or not, are currently undergoing their re-sits. Much was I angered with the results of those who opted for a revision of paper. When most people received their slip of paper with the outcome of the revision, few would have believed that what was written referred to their own paper. This is all mind-boggling, at the very least. It is clear that there's something wrong with this bloody board - like a puzzle missing most of its pieces - and it needs to start afresh.
I truly hope that the performances of those taking the re-sit - and, being Aloysians, I know they have the ability to succeed - they can give a much welcomed response to these lunatics and prove they are truly worth the entry to University. Provided we have courage and faith in ourselves, we can all overcome the obstacles and carry out what our heart truly desires.
